Microsoft to Bring In Consumer -Ready Hololens v 3 In Year 2019
HoloLens - the Microsoft mixed reality headset - is now on at $3,000 price . The Windows 10 device has a Developer Edition and a Commercial Suite and is recently listed on the company's online Store. Microsoft said the sales are in the thousands and they are happy with the numbers.
Based On the latest report, Microsoft is going to leave a generation and jump straight to version in 2019. Not creating version 2.0 this year will allow the company to deliver a large upgrade, rather than just a new
version of what we already have.
Mass production of these devices is expected to launch in the second half of 2019 with expected 80 million headsets sold by 2020. That's certainly an ambitious goal and Microsoft will need to deliver something very special to achieve it.
