The Sony SmartWatch 3 product was not on the Android Wear 2.0 latest list and the reason was easy to guess. Now you can hear it from the horse’s mouth - Sony’s latest (or should that be last?) smartwatch will remain on version 1.5.

in early 2014, while all the watches on the update list are from 2015. This also means that Sony hasn’t released a smartwatch in three years, it seems like it has given up on the segment.
