Xiaomi Has Announced That It has Become The Second Largest smartphone Vendor In India
This is widely due to the sales of the Redmi 3S variants, which collectively sold over 3 million in under six months since its launch last year.
This is according to the IDC report, which further states that Xiaomi climbed up to second place with 10.7% share in CY Q4 2016 versus 3.3% during same quarter last year. Year-on-year shipments grew threefold with a sequential growth of 15.3% in CY Q4 2016.
